I found a great Animal Planet video about Huntsmen. I think it’s funny kill people by scaring them rather than biting them.

I put it there so you can see they’re good little spiders. :) Well, big spiders. But he isn’t one of the nasties.

Great video! It’s hard to remember that they are not dangerous when you are confronted with one, though. We had a huntsman in our house last week and it was quite a scary experience. It was the biggest spider I have ever seen!

They are pretty massive. :) Thank goodness the only one I’ve encountered was a teenager.
