Checking In – Wagon? What Wagon?
What wagon indeed.
I suppose if we’re to talk wagons and falling off, I fell off when we moved. And I haven’t gotten back on. I have in general ways like getting into the habit of Wii Fit in the morning, etc, but I’m someone who considers being ‘back on’ the wagon the point at which the pounds start coming off.
And they haven’t. Not a nudge, smidge or squiggle.
Honestly, though? Right now, my physical health is really taking a back seat to my mental health. Until I get that sorted out, my physical health is just going to deteriorate. I’m already feeling some of the affects of stress along the lines of a head cold that lasted nearly two weeks (mine usually last one or two days) and various skin problems.
I’m planning on seeing a counselor at some point (probably, maybe…), but for now, I have these:
Valerian root is a herb that you can take in tea or pill form that helps with various ailments. It’s often used for insomnia and can help people with a ‘nervous stomach’. Theraputically, it can help people with anxiety, stress and even depression because it is a ‘calming herb’.
Lately, this little herbal pill has been what is keeping me steady. I wish it would help me to lose weight, too, but one thing at a time…

I’m glad that valerian root is working. It has done wonders for me!
Thank you.
I’m glad it’s working for you, too.
